By choosing a welding machine on the EURO-WELDING website, you are guaranteed that it is designed by a French or European manufacturer complying with the EN 60974-1 manufacturing standard.
Compliance with this EN 60974-1 standard by the manufacturer guarantees that the equipment produced is intended for industrial and professional use, and that with regard to the rules relating to electromagnetic compatibility, this equipment is rated class A.
It is your responsibility to check the following points before any use
- That the electrical network used when operating this type of equipment is properly earthed
- That the electrical line to which you connect the welding machine is controlled by a fuse whose amperage is in line with that indicated on the nameplate of the machine or that indicated in the supplier's manual.
Depending on the model of machine that interests you, specifically its power in Amperes or its type of current (single-phase or three-phase), it is your responsibility to contact your electricity supplier to ensure that you have the appropriate subscription.
-Pacemaker wearers should consult a doctor before using this equipment. Exposure to electromagnetic fields during welding may have other effects on health that are not yet known.
As a general rule, as with any other tool, it is essential to read the user manual provided with the machine, including the safety instructions, before using this equipment.

Choosing suitable welding goggles is essential whenever working with metal. The welding arc, spatter, dust and grinding chips expose the eyes to immediate risks: irritation, burns, arc eye, mechanical impact or visual discomfort during work. This category brings together simple and effective solutions to protect the eyes of the welder, boilermaker, bodywork technician or experienced DIY enthusiast, with models designed for the workshop, the job site and occasional use.
Welder's goggles differ from standard protective eyewear through their filtration and resistance to the demands of welding. Depending on the process used, they can be used for tacking, brazing, oxy-cutting, light welding or visual inspection around the workstation. A good pair must remain stable, properly cover the sides of the face and limit glare without distorting the perception of the workpiece. Comfort is also important: flexible temples, a suitable nose bridge, lightness and compatibility with other protective equipment make them easier to wear over long periods.
The search for a professional welding goggle must begin with an analysis of the actual risk. For welding, it is necessary to check the shade, optical quality and protection against UV and IR radiation. For preparation or finishing work, the priority is more on impact resistance, wrap-around coverage and scratch-resistant coating. The right choice therefore depends on the task to be performed: welding, brazing, inspecting a bead, deburring, cutting or cleaning a metal part. In all cases, goggles must be used with the necessary complementary protections, including a welding helmet or mask when the arc intensity requires it.
Grinding generates fast-moving particles, abrasive dust and sometimes very hot sparks. A grinding goggle must therefore offer reliable mechanical protection and a clear field of vision. Wrap-around models are particularly useful for preventing lateral projections from reaching the eye. For more exposed work, it is recommended to combine the goggles with a protective face shield to also cover the face. A well-chosen grinding protection goggle improves safety without hindering precision, whether using an angle grinder, a bench grinder or a finishing disc.
A welding goggle may be suitable for certain targeted uses, but it does not systematically replace a welding helmet. Welding glasses primarily protect the eyes, while a helmet or face shield also protects the face against spatter and heat. For short tasks, goggles can provide a practical and quick-to-deploy solution. For high-intensity MIG/MAG, TIG or MMA welding, full face protection generally remains preferable. The objective is to choose equipment based on the level of exposure, and not solely based on habit or price.
At EURO-WELDING, protective goggles and face shields are selected to meet the concrete needs of metalworking trades. You will find clear goggles for grinding operations, tinted lenses for certain welding tasks, as well as face shields designed for heavier spatter. Before ordering, check compatibility with your environment: wearing a respiratory mask, noise-cancelling helmet, gloves, welding hood, welding screen or corrective glasses. Effective eye protection is what you actually wear — without excessive fogging, without discomfort and without loss of visibility.
To secure your operations, equip each workstation with the protection suited to the task being performed. Welding goggles, welder's goggles and grinding goggles are among the basic equipment to keep within reach in a workshop. They complement the welder's other PPE and contribute to cleaner, more consistent and safer work, whether you are carrying out a quick repair, surface preparation or a series of production beads.
The price of a professional welding goggle depends on the shade, filtration level and optical quality. It must effectively protect against spatter and radiation suited to the process.
