GEKA - SUPER 299 | Rutile electrodes for welding dissimilar steel or stainless steel

Rutile-basic electrode depositing an austenitic-ferritic steel.
Specially suited for welding dissimilar steels (steel, stainless with non-alloy steel), and materials known to be difficult to weld such as tool steels, manganese steels, cast steels, spring steels, gears, cylinder rods...
The deposited metal is particularly resistant to cracking and is also suitable as an underlay before hard facing and for facing cutting or shearing tools.
Smooth fusion, attractive bead appearance - self-releasing slag.
Electrode baking: 250°C / 2 h if necessary.
Inter-pass temperature: max 250°C
Standard AWS A 5.4 / E312-16
Standard ISO 3581-A / E29 9 R 12

Available in 1 or 5 kg cases and two diameters: 2.5 and 3.2 mm

Good electrode for welding on different steels I use them as an undercoat for reloading coulter of soil cracker they make very nice beads at a not too high intensity and easy priming
