The PROTIG 230 AC/DC FV is a high-performance, compact and portable TIG AC/DC and MMA welding machine, ideal for demanding work on site as well as in the workshop.

To be used optimally and at its maximum capacity (200A) under intensive use, this unit must be paired with a cooling unit and a water-cooled torch.
The TIG setup can be converted to a water-cooled torch setup simply by adding a COOL ARC® 24 cooling unit.

In MMA mode, this unit features the following technologies:

Hot Start: Facilitates and speeds up arc ignition by providing a current surge to prevent electrode sticking.
Anti-sticking: Automatically reduces the output current in the event of a stuck electrode.
Arc Force: Temporary increase in welding current when the arc is too short.
